How can nutrition counseling help me?

Improving your nutrition can help you lose weight, control your blood sugar, reduce your blood pressure, or lower your cholesterol. Nutrition counseling will get you headed in the right direction and help keep you on track.

Is it covered by insurance?

Many insurance plans cover nutrition counseling 100% with no deductibles or co-pays. I can check your insurance for you, so you’ll know before you start. Sarli Nutrition is in network with Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, WebTPA, and some Medicare plans.  If insurance doesn’t cover it, the cost is $125 for the initial session and $40 for any follow-up sessions. Ask me about the senior discount if it applies!

Do you do telemedicine?

What happens in a nutrition consult?

I always start with your goals. What are you needing nutrition to do for you? Then I’ll do a quick analysis of what you’re eating now, so we can pinpoint the trouble spots. Finally, we will work together on practical solutions. We’ll end with a specific plan that you can implement. Follow-up sessions to check your progress and keep you on track are available but not required.

Yes. When it’s time for your appointment, I’ll send you a link. No need to download any software. Just click the link, and we’ll be connected by video conference. If you don’t have an internet connection, we can do a consult by phone.

Do I need a Referral?

If you use Medicare, I’ll need a doctor’s referral. Otherwise, no referral is needed.
